The SDR loves your complex data!

This is international Love Data Week, an annual celebration of all things data that highlights topics, opportunities, and services relevant to data in research.

Check out this quick (1:37) video below to learn about new features for the Stanford Digital Repository (SDR) that make it easier than ever for you to share your data with others.

  • Share your data or code in hierarchical file structures like nested folders and subfolders so that end users can quickly browse through all the contents and download the specific files they need — or everything all at once.
  • Make deposits of large amounts of content — which we define as anything over 10 GB — without assistance from a member of our team. This new feature is powered by our new integration with the file transfer service Globus.

Of course, we’re still always here to assist you if you need help!

Please be aware that deposits of 1 TB or more may incur a one-time fee to help offset the costs of storage.

If you’re interested in depositing your data in the SDR, please contact us sdr-contact@lists.stanford.edu.

And, of course, check out our other Love Data Week activities!
